About Coastal Illumination

Luis has completed hundreds of successful landscape lighting projects ranging from residential estates to country clubs to affluent community associations.  He is there every step of the way from the initial consultation and custom design process to the attentive installation and final walk through ensuring each client’s complete satisfaction.

In 2006 Luis purchased the Florida office of Vernon Daniel Associates, a well-established and highly acclaimed landscape lighting company serving the east coast of the United States for over half a century.  Luis had the great pleasure of training and working with Mr. Vernon Daniel, one of the pioneers in the industry who helped develop the concept and techniques of landscape lighting over 50 years ago. 

In addition, Luis studied at the Lighting Research Institute of New York and utilizes the latest technology, such as AutoCAD, in the professional plans he develops to convey the artist vision of his lighting designs.  He is certified by the Electrical Contractor’s Licensing Board of the State of Florida as a Specialty Contractor, license number ES12001948.
 
When not creating beautiful nighttime scenes, Luis can be found below sea level scuba diving with his two sons or drifting up in the clouds on his paramotor.  He is an active leader and volunteer with his sons’ scout unit and a board member at his local church.
